Our Insect Shield^® UV BUFF^® is infused with an oderless insect repellent thats effective against most biting insects such as mosquitos, ticks, ants, flies, chiggers and midges. The EPA requires extensive effectiveness data to prove a product's ability to repel insects, and Insect Shield^® has passed all EPA testing levels. Many species and varities of these insects have been tested, including those that can carry dangerous diseases. This technology will last through 70 washings, and is EPA registered to perform to that level. Our Insect Shield® UV Buff^®s are made with Coolmax Extreme^® fabric, which allows the UV BUFF^® to evaporate your perspiration quickly. A special 4 channel fibre forms a transport system that pulls moisture away from your skin to the outer layer of the fabric. It then dries that moisture faster than any other fabric and thermoregulates your bodies temperature.

Our special microfiber blend stretches from left to right, but not top to bottom. That means your Insect Shield® UV Buff^® will never lose its shape, ever!

You will never experience any iritation or chaffing while wearing your Insect Shield® UV Buff^®, due to our special way of seaming our product. In fact, you may have difficulty finding the seam altogether.

Polygiene^® is an anti bacterial, anti odor technology and is based on natural silver salts and recycled silver. It is incorporated into the fabric, not just the individual fibers or panels. Polygiene^® protects against odor and degradation from odor causing bacteria,thus ensuring freshness and comfort no matter how hot the conditions may be. Silver has a natural ability to prevent the growth of bacteria and has been known as an antibacterial for thousands of years. Preventing bacteria growth means you'll also prevent body odors from being produced by sweat.

Polygiene^® qualifies for the OEKO-TEX standard 100 and has undergone dermatological testing. It will not cause skin irritation, and the active ingredient has been proven to stay in the fabric, no matter how many times you may wash your garment.
